The online Master of Education in Education Leadership and Administration degree from Jones International University has been created for those licensed educators who are looking for a flexible option for gaining the broad knowledge that is required for succeeding in a variety of leadership and administration roles within today's complex and diverse school systems.

Throughout the course of this online degree in education leadership and administration, students will work with a number of experts as they augment their professional knowledge, skills, and aptitude.

Graduates of this program will be able to:

  • Demonstrate their understanding of state standards and are able to demonstrate effective instructional and assessment methodologies and strategies.
  • Demonstrate their understanding of instruction, especially as related to state standards and closing the achievement gap.
  • Demonstrate their understanding of the appraisal of instructors, as related to student learning.
  • Demonstrate their understanding of national, state, and local district personnel policies.
  • Demonstrate their understanding of the design of a positive learning environment focused on student achievement and characterized by appropriate and acceptable standards of student conduct and effective behavior management strategies.
  • Demonstrate their understanding of the principles and practices for the fiscal management of schools or school districts.
  • Demonstrate their knowledge of how to assure a safe learning environment in a secure, well-maintained facility.
  • Demonstrate understanding of effective communication, decision-making, and interpersonal problem-solving and conflict-resolution strategies.
