The online Master of Education in Elementary Education (No IR, No Cert) degree program from Grand Canyon University offers those who must postpone student teaching, or who does not choose to seek a teaching certificate, a flexible option for developing the broad knowledge that is needed for teaching grades K-8.

This online elementary education program does not offer its students their IR or Cert, but does offer them courses that are taught by experts with year of experience in the field, and will guide them as they develop their understanding of educational psychology, prescriptive reading, teaching methods, and curriculum development.

Based on Assignments directed towards guiding students through observational and practice-based experiences, the curriculum of this elementary education degree program will prepare students for becoming become informed educators in the home, church, private schools, and other settings not requiring a teaching credential.

The students are also prepared to move into a student teaching/credentialing component with Grand Canyon University.

All applicants must have a bachelor's degree to apply.
