Cal U Global Online's Master of Arts in Tourism Planning and Development program prepares individuals for a variety of careers in tourism research and planning development.
This online tourism planning program will appeal to professionals within the tourism field who are committed to lifelong learning, as well as students with undergraduate degrees in tourism or related disciplines such as business, economics, management, marketing, international studies, parks and recreation, planning or geography.
The Tourism and Development program is structured so that the students can complete it within eighteen to twenty-four months for 36 credits with or without a thesis. The first ten months of the program involve course work through distance education. The second part of the program involves the compilation of a Masters Thesis/Master's Degree Project Option.
Applicants to this program must have a bachelor's degree from a four year accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (candidates with a 2.5-3.0 GPA will be considered if they submit two professional letters of recommendation) to be acceptance to the School of Graduate Studies and Research
