Western Governors University is now offering a Master of Arts in Science Education, Biological Sciences (5-12) degree program was created to aid students in gaining the necessary skills and licensure needed to obtain and succeed in a position in teaching biological sciences in grades 5-12.

This is an excellent online program for individuals with a background in biological sciences, and who hold a bachelor's degree in math, science, or engineering.

A 2008 USDLA (United States Distance Learning Association) Best Practices award recipient, the Masters in Teaching, Biological Sciences program enables its students with the skills, both theoretical and practical, that they will need in becoming a highly-qualified teacher of biological sciences.

In addition this online teaching program also helps students gain the skills needed for conducting extensive research in areas such as instructional design, management and innovation, measurement, or technology integration.

All applicants must have an accredited Bachelor's degree.
