Description

This fully online Master of Arts in Science Education (5-9) degree program from the Western Governors University was created for those individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in math, science, or engineering, and who are looking to obtain the skills and credentials needed for teaching science in grades 5-9.

This online science education master's degree, recognized in 2008 by the USDLA (United States Distance Learning Association) for the Best Practices award, offers any individual with a strong background in science the opportunity to gain the licensure and understanding needed for succeeding in a position of teaching science.

As well, students in this program will gain valuable graduate level research skills such as, instructional design, management and innovation, measurement, or technology integration.
