The online Master of Arts in Jewish Studies degree program has been created for those individuals who are looking to further their knowledge of Jewish studies generally, or to specialize in specific areas of advanced Jewish learning.
Focused on lay people interested in self-enrichment, Jewish communal service professionals, general studies teachers and consultants in Jewish day schools, this online graduate degree in Jewish Studies will enable them with a firm foundation for doctoral work in Jewish studies and/or Jewish education.
This online Jewish Studies degree will also prepare students for teaching Jewish secondary schools through a double master's degree program in Jewish studies and Jewish education, and for advanced work in Jewish music through a double master's degree program in Jewish studies and Jewish music.
Students may choose a Major in Bible, Rabbinics, Literature, History, Jewish Thought or Contemporary Jewish Studies.
This degree requires you to complete 36 credits or 78 credits to specialize.
Students must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
