The internationally renown online Master of Arts in Historic Preservation degree from Savannah College of Art and Design understands that cities and towns across this country have begun to recognize the cultural and financial value of bring back to life the historic old buildings of our nations past.

This program has the sole purpose of creating preservationist looking to research, document, and preserve our structural and architectural heritage. This degree enables the students with the social and economic understanding they need to conduct laboratory and rehabilitation techniques in order to save structures crumbling at the hands of time.

Students in this program have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of preservation in the living lab that is Savannah, along with other locations across the nation that have been furnished with the materials needed for testing, restoration treatment analysis, and conservation experimentation.

This online program opens the doors to internships with organiztions, such as:

All applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, and must possess enough facility with imaging software to send and view photographic content, which is integral to historic preservation coursework. A Digital camera, Scanner and Imaging software are also required.
