This online graphic design degree enables students with the ability to use the variety of industry-standard computer applications that are used for the production and presentation of online and print media. This graphic design program equips individuals with the knowledge needed for creating a wide range of materials including, brochures, websites, and newsletters, which will help them to meet the growing demand of organizations that have begun to increase their in-house publishing needs.
All students in this program will have the opportunity to create a print and digital portfolio that houses samples of their own professionally created projects and designs to demonstrate their knowledge and application of the graphic design concepts they have gained. The MA in Graphic Design will also guide students in leaning the in-depth history and theory of the field, and how to develop their own approach to design. All applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, and must be familiar with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Adobe Type Classics
