Argosy University developed the Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Instructional Leadership program for educators that want to develop or enhance their classroom skills, become curriculum supervisors, or become educational leaders with instruction as their main focus.
While in this fully online in Instructional Leadership, you will develop the core practical and academic skills in analysis, learn current trends and advanced techniques in curriculum design, and generally enhance your abilities in and around the classroom.
The Master of Arts in Education in Instructional Leadership Program at Argosy University Online is a self paced program. Students must complete 36 credit hours of course work to graduate, usually over the span of 1-2 years. Tuition is $525 per credit hour, with most courses consisting of 3 credit hours each. There is a $50 application fee, and a $150 graduation fee.
There is a residency requirement - Argosy University requires more than 50% of its course requirements be completed at a campus location.
While the courses and curriculum in the MAEd in Instructional Leadership program are designed to satisfy prevailing state licensure and certification requirements in many states, students are responsible for checking with the teaching certification agency in the state in which they teach (or plan to work or teach) to confirm the applicability and eligibility of program courses and degrees to meet local requirements prior to enrollment.
