Argosy University developed its Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Educational Leadership Program to transition students from the role of a classroom leader to that of an administrative leader in complex educational institutions. The curriculum challenges students to develop core skills in the areas of practical and academic analysis, oral and written communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, team-building, and technology. You will take classes online in our interactive, user-friendly classroom and learn from seasoned faculty members who provide personalized attention in a small class setting.
The Master of Arts in Education in Educational Leadership Program at Argosy University Online is a self paced program. Students must complete 36 credit hours of course work to graduate, usually over the span of 1-2 years. Tuition is $525 per credit hour, with most courses consisting of 3 credit hours each. There is a $50 application fee, and a $150 graduation fee.
There is a residency requirement - Argosy University requires more than 50% of its course requirements be completed at a campus location.
While the courses and curriculum in the MAEd in Educational Leadership program are designed to satisfy prevailing state licensure and certification requirements in many states, students are responsible for checking with the teaching certification agency in the state in which they teach (or plan to work or teach) to confirm the applicability and eligibility of program courses and degrees to meet local requirements prior to enrollment.
