The focus on this online Master of Arts in Education / Curriculum and Instruction - ESL degree program from the University of Phoenix is to enable those bachelor-prepared individuals with the skills and understanding that is need for improving their curriculum and instruction repertoire as it relates to English as a Second Language education.
While in this fully online ESL degree program, students will develop the in-depth understanding that is needed for creating curriculum and develop instructional methods that through the integration of technology, assessment and evaluation practices, and the development of strategies for effective classroom instruction for a variety of learners will enable students to develop English as a second language.
This specific focus of this program is to enable its students with the knowledge that is needed for creating instructional methods and materials for teaching English as a Second Language, which includes:

- Testing and evaluation of students studying English as a second language

All applicants must be regionally or nationally accredited U.S. bachelor's degree; a cumulative graduate GPA of 2.5 or higher; 3 years of post high school, full time work experience.
