Nova Southeastern University's Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science program combines traditional and online instruction that give professionals the opportunity to pursue graduate studies while continuing to work in their current positions.
This completely online Ph.D. program is especially well suited to those who are currently working in industry, education, or government, and who are involved with one of the many areas of computer science. This program provides research-oriented professionals with knowledge in the major areas of computer science, and gives them the ability to develop creative solutions to substantive real-world problems.
Each student in the program must complete eight core courses, two research project courses, and a dissertation. All applicants to this Doctoral programs are required to have earned a Master's degree in a related field of study with a GPA of at least 3.25 from a regionally accredited institution.
