The Doctorate in Computer Information Systems degree is especially well-suited for professionals in business, government, industry, or education looking to get involved in the research, design, implementation, management, evaluation, utilization, or teaching of computer information systems. This online doctorate program provides technology-oriented professionals with the knowledge and ability needed in order to develop creative solutions to substantive real-world problems.
Each of the student in the online computer systems management degree program must complete eight core courses, two research project courses, and a dissertation. Students can also pursue this degree with a concentration in Information Security. This is a National Security Agency (NSA) recognized certification; students who complete the concentration may also request a graduate certificate.
All applicants to the Doctoral programs require an earned Master's degree in a related field of study with a GPA of at least 3.25 from a regionally accredited institution
