Liberty University's Doctor of Education (EdD) program provides advanced training for individuals, like you, seeking positions in higher education, developing competent and effective leaders with a Christian worldview who will model high academic standards and assume a leadership role in the field of education. Specialized courses develop the skills necessary to assume a facilitating role in accomplishing the goals and objectives of an education system, whether it is as a teacher, superintendent, principal, college instructor, or another academic position requiring strong leadership and decision-making abilities. This program is approved through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
The Doctor of Education program from Liberty University requires 3 on-campus intensive residencies, and an on-campus dissertation defense.
The EdD is a 60 credit hour program. Tuition is $425 per credit hour, there is a $150 technology fee per semester, a $25 on-campus Intensive fee per course, and a $50 application fee.
Liberty University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees.
