
Description
Colorado Technical University Doctor of Computer Science (DCS) is offered through CTU's Institute for Advanced Studies, and is a terminal degree for CS professional, consultants, and academics.
While in the online PhD in Computer Science courses, students are encouraged to think and act strategically in order to aid them in gaining the knowledge that is needed for:
- Predicting future tends
- Communicate technical material to non-technical decision makers
- Make positive contributions in their area of technical expertise
This online computer science program consists three years of study in which student learn about a variety of topics related to the CS field, including developing software processes of improvement plan for an organization, and evaluating new and emerging security systems.
Students in this online PhD in Computer Science program will benefit from an executive format that is uses both online instruction in combination with an intensive residential session that lasts four day at the CTU Colorado Springs campus.
All applicants must live in the United States or Canada and have a Master's degree to apply.
