The University of New England's online Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study - Curriculum & Instruction Strategies program has been created to focus on the aiding K-12 educators to focus on strengthening their classroom in those challenging areas of literacy and inclusion with a course on instructional leadership examining how one can impact curriculum beyond the single classroom.
This online graduate certification in curriculum & instruction program offers its students 15 credit hours of course work that focus on a number of topics regarding the development and implementation of quality curriculum and instruction, including:
- Instructional Leadership
- Using Technology within Inclusion Education
- Teaching and Learning in Inclusion Settings
- Study Skills & Content Literacy Instruction for All
- Connecting Reading with Writing for Success
Students must have a master's degree from a regionally accredited institution; a valid license or certificate to teach and a minimum of one year teaching experience; currently be employed as a teacher or have access to a classroom on a regular basis.
