Gratz College's online Certificate in Jewish Music is an excellent program for Music teachers in Jewish schools, general classroom teachers who want to incorporate music into their lessons on a regular basis and Cantorial soloists and others who would like to formalize their knowledge of Jewish music.

Candidates for the Certificate must also demonstrate rudimentary proficiency in the fields of Hebrew language and general music. Some of the required courses include Discovering Jewish Music, Synagogue Music Literature and Music in Jewish Education to name a few.

This certificate may be completed as either an undergraduate or graduate credential. Additional program requirements apply to the graduate degree.
