Description
Eastern Kentucky University's online Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Certificate program teaches students the knowledge that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Individuals may complete the certificate program without any prior college credit.
EKU's Fire & Safety faculty are nationally and internationally known for their teaching, research and dedication to the fire and safety fields, and are active in numerous professional organizations including the National Association of Fire Investigators, National Fire Protection Association, International Society of Fire Service Instructors, International Association of Arson Investigators and the International Association of Fire Chiefs and work closely with FEMA to establish standards of practice. The faculty is especially dedicated to student success and utilizes a hands-on approach to teaching.
Applications for admission are accepted five times annually. Students in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology bachelor degree or certificate programs may qualify for federal financial aid and/or private student loans.
