Description

The Certificate In .NET Programming from Pierce College is designed to provide students with a solid background in the methodology of application development, the justification, design, creation, and maintenance of complex computer systems which benefit a company's bottom line.

Through self-discovery, hands-on exercises, and a running project, students will learn how to decide whether to pursue an information systems project through a business case analysis, create a functional specification document, design and build graphical user interfaces, flow-charting, pseudo-coding, and programming using Microsoft's Visual Basic.NET. Students will also learn ASP, XML, and SQL as part of the broad implementation of the project. Students may apply credits earned in the Certificate of Proficiency to the associate degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Programming and Application Development.

Pierce College .NET Programming classes begin every month in an accelerated, seven-week format. Attend school part-time and complete a certificate program in as little as 6 months.

With Pierce College's Certificate in .NET Programming, you have the option of earning your certificate online, at the Philadelphia campus, at a company or community location, or any combination of the three!

Online and campus classes at Pierce College are the same price, $425 per credit (most classes are 3 credits), and $100 technology fee per course. There is a $50 application fee, and a $75 graduation fee.
