Description
With the growth of dependence on information technology showing no sign of stopping, there is an equally growing demand for individuals who are able to ensure the security the information that is being shared. Because of this, Colorado Technical University has created their online Bachelor of Science in Information Technology - Security degree program.
Students of this online degree program will take a number of courses, such as Security Management, Security Architecture and Disaster Recovery, as they work to develop the in-depth and well-rounded that is needed for securing today's information.
During the course of the information technology security program, students will work with experts in the field to learn how to:
- To analyze security policies and evaluate risk assessment techniques
- Explain security principles, concepts, and techniques
- Develop, implement, and analyze disaster recovery plans
This information security program has a core that is based on aiding individuals in their development of the various skills that are needed to succeed in positions such as:
