
Description
The online Bachelor of Science in Fire Science degree from Anna Maria College, students will work with a number of experts to prepare for an entry-level career within fire prevention and protection as a firefighter or member of fire service agency.
Based on teaching the essentials of fire prevention, safety and management, students will work to develop their strategic and leadership skills that are needed for being a valuable throughout a career in the fire service.

Focused on the technical aspects of fire and safety, fire detection and control systems, and hydraulics, this online fire science program also guides students in their study areas related to operations and the community, such as the organization and communication of emergency services, legal issues, and public education.
The curriculum has been approved by the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) committee at the National Fire Academy, the educational arm of the U.S. Fire Administration.
