Description

The bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Concentration in Programming & Application Development from Pierce College teaches students higher-level application development in the .NET environment involving courses on ASP, SQL, XML, and the component object model for application development. Students will also explore the desktop programming languages used in industry: JavaScript, C++, and Java as well as Microsoft Project and Visio. This concentration culminates in a capstone project that requires the student to build a working program or model to enhance his/her own job or to demonstrate knowledge gained in this area of study.
