The online Bachelor of Science in Terrorism and Counterterrorism Studies program at Henley-Putnam University introduces students to the concepts of terrorism and counterterrorism.

This program emphasizes the understanding of extremist, terrorists groups and their operations, and helps students to gain an appreciation of the magnitude of this problem. With this degree students are provided with the counterterrorism training knowledge necessary for them provide safety and protective measures against this enemy.

This online program also provides individuals with a basic understanding of:

  • Current terrorist organizations, and their ideologies including their methods, targets, support structures, and motives.
  • Conducting counterintelligence and counterterrorism operations.
  • Planning and setting up of appropriate intelligence collection programs.
  • Analyzing and evaluating collected intelligence to identify terrorist threats.
  • Developing, evaluating, and refining contingency plans for terrorist attacks.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and completed a minimum of 50 college credit hours. A background check and screening process is required.
