The Bachelor of Arts in Social Science (BA/SS) degree gives students a multidisciplinary approach to social sciences through a variety of different outlooks that are combined and applied to real world issues. This degree can be specialized degree when students apply approved transfer credits toward a concentration. Students can choose from over 20 concentrations including Education Studies, Biology, Psychology and more. Adding a concentration allows students to use credit they already earned and enhances their degree since they can apply the knowledge they've gained toward their studies in the BA/SS program. Up to 99 credits can be transferred toward a degree.
Applicants to this program must have a High school diploma or GED, be age 22 or older, have work experience, preferably full-time work experience and meet the writing proficiency standards of the College of External Studies.
