Then earn your Bachelor of Arts in Social Science (BA/SS) - Communications degree from Ashford University. Students participating in this program can transfer up to 12 approved credits of Communications coursework to qualify as their concentration in the Social Science degree program. Their previous work with various types of communication and their applicability to specific situations and audiences will supplement their studies in Social Science, which will result in a well-rounded degree. Applicants to this program must have a High school diploma or GED, be age 22 or older, have work experience, preferably full-time work experience and meet the writing proficiency standards of the College of External Studies.
