Description

The associate's degree program in Information Technology, concentration in Programming and Application Development from Pierce College teaches students about basic computer concepts, data communications, programming fundamentals, and the Visual Basic programming language using Microsoft .NET technology. Students will complete the first two in a series of six online application development courses and will learn how to use Visual Studio and the Microsoft Office Suite of applications at a fundamental level. Students will also learn how to use the Internet as a tool in HTML and Web Page design.

Accelerated Online Education
Pierce College online programming and application development classes begin every month in an accelerated, seven-week format. Attend school part-time and complete an associate degree in as little as 18 months.

Online and campus classes at Pierce College are the same price, $425 per credit (most classes are 3 credits), and $100 technology fee per course. There is a $50 application fee, and a $75 graduation fee.
