Drexel University's, a Pennsylvania Department of Education-approved, Post-Bachelor's Teaching Certificate program certifies students who hold Bachelor's degrees to be teachers in Elementary Education or Secondary Education in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Space Science, General Science, Environmental Education, and/or Mathematics.
This program is for individual looking for a career change as well as those who already serve as substitute teachers and wish to earn a formal teaching credential. Applicants to this program must have a Bachelor's degree from accredited institution, undergrad GPA of 3.0 or higher (grad GPA's will also be considered). GPA's of 2.75 to 2.99 must take and achieve required qualifying scores on the Praxis I: Pre-Professional Skills Assessments.
