The Associate of Science in Professional Studies program was designed for students who seek to advance their formal education while accommodating their demanding lifestyle. Like that of a traditional liberal arts degree, the Professional Studies degree provides a core curriculum in humanities and social sciences, and was designed to enhance and enrich skills that today's businesses need. As a result, this program provides opportunities for students who are looking to establish new careers or advance within an organization.
Giving students the flexibility to pursue their own career goals, the Professional Studies program consists of a core curriculum of general education combined with a flexible curriculum of electives within your area of professional interest. Each career concentration within the program is designed to provide a set of highly marketable skills in a specific profession, such as: Accounting, Applied Psychology, Business, Computer & Digital Forensics, Computer Networking, Healthcare Management, Paralegal, Professional Writing, Software Development and Website.
All applicants for undergraduate degrees must have earned at least a high school diploma or GED. Most successful applicants have earned a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 and have completed some military or college level coursework with a 2.5 GPA or better.
