
Description
In the online Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Bryant & Stratton College students will learn the practical hands-on applications they need to be prepared for analyzing cases and preparing the legal forms and documents that are required in litigating law suits, prosecuting crimes, closing real estate transactions, and drafting documents used in custody, separation, and divorce proceedings.
The Paralegal Studies program also emphasizes the ethical considerations for legal professionals as prescribed by the American Bar Association and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
Graduates are prepared to obtain entry-level positions working under the supervision of an attorney in private law firms or in other related occupations in:
- Government
- Legal departments of banks
- Corporations, insurance companies
- Accounting firms
- Real estate development or property-management firms.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply. This degree is not available to Ohio state residents.
