Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Degrees

Students who are enrolled in a paralegal post-baccalaureate degree program will gain knowledge about the law and its legal processes. Before a student can enroll in this program, they are required to possess a bachelor's degree. You can earn your degree to become a paralegal in less than a year. The topics that are covered in this degree program include legal ethics, legal research and writing, an introduction to paralegal work, civil procedures and litigation. The program also offers specialized courses that deal with topics such as business and corporate law and practice, family law, real estate law, wills, living trusts, estate planning and probate law. By the end of the program, students will be adept at applying ethical principles in a legal environment and they will be able to demonstrate professionalism in legal environments, perform legal research, apply critical thinking skills to legal issues, and process legal documents.
Paralegals can work in law offices as assistants to lawyers or as corporate paralegals.
