Online RN to BSN Masters Degree Programs

A BSN nursing program opens the door to more advanced positions and higher pay within the nursing field. It can also make you eligible to become an Advanced Practice Nurse and earn your Masters degree in nursing. A Masters Degree course in nursing teaches you how to administer medication and treatments, provide key assistance to doctors, hospitals and emergency rooms as well as other clinics, and qualifies you to counsel patients in order to advise them on the best treatment available for them. Some accelerated BSN nursing programs allow you to earn your BSN within 24 months or less, provided you enter school with a Masters degree in nursing or RN. Finishing a BSN nursing degree will require you to take a state board exam to make you a fully licensed or registered nurse (RN). You can then pursue working for hospitals and healthcare clinics where you can master a comprehensive experience, or you may proceed to a masters degree in nursing to become an advanced practice nurse and grow beyond basic nursing practices.
