Organizational psychology is the study of workplace behavior and the application of psychological theories and research to increase employees' job performance and productivity. Industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology has specific, real world applications in the business world, including: employee selection; employee training and development; product testing; survey design; and employee assessment. Those who want to become I/O psychologists will need a graduate degree in the field.
