Early Childhood Education Certificate Programs

Get qualified to help young children during the first development stages of growth.

Earn a certificate in early childhood education, and you’ll be qualified to help young children during the critical first development stages. An early childhood education certificate will give you a solid grounding in the social, verbal, cognitive, and mental development stages young children go through as they grow from infancy to approximately five or even as old as eight years, depending on the program.

Many of those who earn a certificate in early childhood education go on to work in day care. You may also find employment teaching students at home with Head Start or another early intervention program, or teaching preschool. Public schools generally require a Bachelor’s degree and advanced certification, but you may be able to work as a kindergarten teacher for a private school as well.
