Description

Adult behavior and personality characteristics are influenced by events that occur during the early years of life.

In this course we help the student to understand the psychological processes of human adults by illustrating how the processes of perceptions, motives, conflicts, patterns of thinking, emotions and coping strategies originate and change over time and show that with a better understanding of problems they might be more positively addressed at an early age.

Outcomes

On completion of your course, you will receive two qualifications:

Developmental Psychology Certificate

Developmental Psychology Certificate issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges, entitling you to use the letters SAC Cert after your name.

NCFE Level 2 Developmental Psychology Award

This Course leads to an NCFE Level 2 Award Certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3). In accrediting the program at level 2, NCFE attests that its learning outcomes are at an equivalent level to a level 2 national qualification.

Assessment
