Description

In this unit, you will learn about various interfaces, such as Collections, Map, List, Set, Enumeration, Iterator, and Observer, which are available in the java.util package.

You will also be shown how to override some of the methods of the Collections interface, such as: add, remove, iterator, and size.

This unit describes overriding methods of the List interface, such as: get and set

In this unit, you will learn about various classes, including those that are available in the java.util package. You will also learn how to use various methods within the classes in a sample program.

You will learn the additional classes that are available in the java.util package. You will learn to use a sample program to apply the methods of the Vector, Hashtable, Stack, Properties and StringTokenizer classes.


Outcomes

Students will be able to explain and use various interfaces, show how to override interfaces, explain the various classes in the java.util package, and to use programs that apply the Vector, Hashtable, Stack, properties & stringTokenizer classes.


Assessment
