Gramm Leach Bliley Act - California

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, also known as the Financial Modernization Act of 1999, repealed the Depression-era barriers that separated banking, insurance and securities, allowing all three to engage in a statutorily provided list of financial activities.

This course will examine the broad umbrella of "financial institutions" that are covered under Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and discuss the financial activities they may engage in.

Upon completion of this online course in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act students will have a well-rounded understanding of its place in the financial aspects of California real estate.

This course has no formal based assessment, but encourages its student to conduct self-assessment throughout the duration of the course.
