PIN code provided for this course allows unlimited on-line access for 90 days. This course introduces the basic features of QuickBooks Pro 2002, including customer, vendor, employee, and inventory management.

Students will learn:

• How to add and edit customers
• Add vendors and purchase orders
• Add employees, give raises, and create paychecks
• Complete end-of-month tasks, such as creating reports and paying taxes.

In addition, students will learn about features new to QuickBooks Pro 2002 and how to use Help to find information on specific tasks.

Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Understand QuickBooks Pro 2002
• Work with employee lists
• Add and modify customers
• Work with vendors and purchases
• Add and receive inventory
• Manage items
• Conduct sales transactions
• Examine payroll and payroll services
• Conduct end-of-the-month tasks

Assessment

Student performance is assessed by cumulative training time, number of lessons completed and, where tests are available, the percent correct. Many courses also have a pre- and post-test where the pre-test will automatically assign only the lessons needed to achieve course mastery.
