Education remains a powerhouse topic throughout the many realms of social media, especially when it comes to Twitter. And while that creates a large community of peers and a great place to find information - it can also make it difficult to find quality twitter feeds to follow.

From students to professors, Twitter is chocked-full of people and organizations who provide their followers with a thorough analysis of and varied opinions about the latest achievements, set-backs, and happenings in higher education today.

For the past three years Distance-Education.org has searched out the 20 Top Education Influencers on Twitter that you should be following. These masters of education and
social media provide their followers with a wide assortment
