Where can I find some postgraduate teaching courses to help me to be accepted in the PGCE?
I was rejected from this year's PGCE course on the grounds of "lack of experience". I have been volunteering in schools for two years, and have applied recently for TA jobs. Hope to reapply next year for PGCE and wondering what courses would be best to help with knowledge/experience. Have NVQ2 Supporting Teaching and Learning, considering Open University Child Development and NCFE Child Development (level 3), wonder if anyone has suggestions as to which would help my chances of getting a place next year. Thanks

Unfortunately, being in the US I am not that familiar with the UK educational system, and its requirements. However, I was able to do a little bit of research, care of Google.co.uk, and I have been able to find this excellent resource PGCE. This document is an excellent resource for anyone who is looking to develop the knowledge that is needed for passing the PGCE.
