What schools are accredited by new york state?

I am looking to obtain my Master's in Educational Leadership. I need to make sure that New York State will recognize the school that I take online courses from. Do you have a list of schools that fit this criterion?

The State of NY should accept any degree from an institution that is accredited by a regional accrediting agency that is recognized by either the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

If you are unsure of this anyone of these, you should contact the NY Department of Education. For more information , here is a link to an online article - Online College Accreditation 101 - that could be of some help in your search.

Also, here is a list of Educational Leadership Degrees that should be acceptable, but to be sure, before applying to a program double check it with the state of NY to insure they will accept it.
