That is going to depend on a number of different variables. The first being your education. You are going to have to have at a minimum a bachelor's degree in education to be qualified to teach at any school/level. Next, you more than likely will have had to specialize in art education, but that will depend on the school district you are planning on working for. What I would suggest is for you to contact the school district you are considering working for, and find out the specific details of what education specifics are required for art teachers.

Once you have done this, you will be better equipped for looking for an educational program that will best fit your needs.
