I have completely been in your shoes before. Between my undergraduate and graduate degree programs, I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to move in. However, after talking to a number of people I know, I was able to find my way. I did this by heeding their advice of talking to individuals who have the ideal careers I am interested in.

I did a little research, found people in a number of areas I was considering working in, and talked to them about the educational process they went through to get their jobs.

This process helped me, and can help you. Most people will be more than happy to offer you advice. Just do some thinking, narrow down a few areas you are interested in, and contact some individuals in those areas.

From there, you will be able to assess which option will be the best for you, and which educational direction you should go in.
