What are the minimum computer system requirements needed to participate in online courses?

Most computer purchased in the last several years should be fine for our courses. You do not need the latest and fastest computer available but one that can handle most basic tasks such as word processing, checking email, surfing the internet, downloading files, researching on search engines.
