Switching from semesters to trimesters mid-year?
I am currently a senior at a school with semesters, looking at transferring back to my old school which is on the trimester system. Since the trimesters are about to end where I live, I thought now would be a good time. However, how will my grades translate over? Will they show what they are at my current school for a permanent trimester grade, or will they be exempt?
Also, my grades at my current semester school aren't ideal, and much below the grades I usually receive. If I were to change, would these grades be recorded perfectly? And, if so, is it worth it to move back to my old trimester school (because I know that I flourish in the settings of my old school and would be better prepared for college)?

The majority of schools have a method for translating/transferring grades. All you will need to do is contact the new school, your old school, and discuss the process with the guidance counselor. They will have all the information you will need.
