Typically, no this course will not count for you language course with most universities; however, it never hurts to try. What I suggest you do is contact your advisor, and see if there is any way you can make the course count. Different University use different methods for judging the academic rigor of a course, and maybe you would be able to use some type of independent study. Its a stretch, but maybe it may be worth a try. Good Luck!

My kid is entering primary seven in august 2011. A letter was sent home with her today(2 days before end of term) stating that she will be moved to a primary 6/7 composite class. As a father of a ten year old entering her last year in primary, I feel this would be detrimental to her health / and her education. Is there any legal term to help me/her avoid this (can I arrange a meeting over the next 2 days with the school to discuss getting her placed back in her original primary seven class therefore continuing her studies with same classmates.
