Thanks. I stumbled onto this website and started wondering if I was taking online courses at the right college. My experience with GCU has been good so far.

Hi Shonda,

Yes, Grand Canyon University is an accredited school licensed to award online degrees to students. They are specifically regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission. You can verify their accreditation status by visiting the North Central's website.

Also, here is more information including online degrees offered and additional school summary here:

Grand Canyon further might also have additional accreditations from other organization in order to offer specific degrees in select fields. I would contact them for more information to find out more about these if the program you interested in requires it.

I just need to know if my experienced miners taking a refresher course part 48 and my new hires with no training yet can take the same part 48 course or are they two different courses altogether.
