I'm hoping to get help regarding the BACB certifications.
I have my Master's in Social Work and would like to obtain my Behavior Analyst Certification Board. I inquired to two universities, and there was a large difference in price, which was a red flag and caused me to do a little investigating. I tried to get some information from the BACB Board and they seem to be unreachable, so I inquired at the universities. The higher cost of the two could not say why. The lower cost of the two said their tuition would only apply to the BACB certification and most likely the other university could charge a higher fee because there certification could apply to another masters. I'm hoping to get help regarding certifications.
From your description it seems as though you have the answers you are looking for. It is not unheard of for colleges and universities to charge higher rates of tuition if the credits can be applied to a master's degree. If you already have a master's degree, then it would seem logical for you to go head and attend the program with the lower cost - seeing as you don't need to earn another degree.
