When it comes to certifications for teaching, one's best bet is to begin their inquiry with their state's education agency.

All teaching requirements are determined at the state level, and are the best places to find out what type of certification/education you will need for teaching social studies.

My kid is entering primary seven in august 2011. A letter was sent home with her today(2 days before end of term) stating that she will be moved to a primary 6/7 composite class. As a father of a ten year old entering her last year in primary, I feel this would be detrimental to her health / and her education. Is there any legal term to help me/her avoid this (can I arrange a meeting over the next 2 days with the school to discuss getting her placed back in her original primary seven class therefore continuing her studies with same classmates.
