I'm a 10 grader going to high school in California, I'm planning to go visit family in Afghanistan, and I was wondering if I can get my credits over there and then have the same opportunities when I come back to finish college in California??

That will depend on the school you are transferring back to. You will need to contact them and make the arrangement prior to leaving the county.
