If I want to enroll an ultrasound technician program at a community college, is it pointless to be attending a university right now?
Can some credits taken at a university go towards an ultrasound technician program that I plan to take at a community college next year?

Ok, I am going to break your question in to two parts. The first being should you go to college or university. The answer is really dependent on your situation. While a college education is always a great things, there are times in a persons life when it is just not the right time. If you having trouble deciding if it is the right time for you, here is an excellent article - A College Degree: Is It Really Worth the Money?. Now, for the second part of your question. Every college and university has there own set of rules and regulations when it comes to transferring credits. What I would suggest you do is contact the school's you are interested in about their rules. Also, for more information about the processes of transferring college credits read this articles - Switching Schools: A Guide to Transferring Your College Credits.
